Rewards status

As we continue to toil on post-production, we are also underway in the production of the rewards for our donors. We are very excited for the production of the rewards as they are a special way to thank our donors, while simultaneously branding and marketing the film we are all proud of.   First and foremost, we are learning more about DVD production and have been working on the design for our DVD case. Pablo's vision is that every detail be part of the work of the work art, and that includes the packaging.   We have finalized a design for our T-Shirt using an original concept drawing by artist Daniel Freeman. Pablo has also finalized a design for our poster. Lastly, we are in the midst of constructing our production book that will exhibit photos of the shoot and catalog and recount the journey of the making of our film from script development through post-production. We look forward to sharing these rewards with you. -- Eric Bussey Producer of GASMASK

The Post Production Team

Well I'm happy to inform you that everyone of our 1st choices have agreed to come aboard this film.  So we are finally, going to post production, actually we started a few days ago.  So without further ado, let me introduce the team that will be working on GASMASK.

Paul Penczner.

Paul, is a co-founder of a great production company called Buffalo Picture House  They're doing some wonderful work over there  and you should check them out when you get a chance.  He has worked on the editorial teams of some major motion pictures and  has edited several films that  have screened at festivals  such as Tribeca and SXSW. Paul, will be taking on the role of Post Production Supervisor as well as the editor of the film.  I chose Paul, after interviewing almost a dozen candidates I saw the talent he had in pacing of a story and the almost invisible cuts from the works that he submitted to us.

   Alan Gordon

Alan, is of great colorist  that was referred to me by Ming, our Director of Photography.   He's worked with me on several projects  and was also chosen from among several candidates.   His companies called  Post Pro Gumbo and you should check out  his reel  and see  just how awesome his work is.  He has a great understanding of color theory and using it to set the mood of the film.

  Arjun Sheth

Arjun,  has a remarkable ear for sound design and has worked with Paul on many projects  over at Buffalo Picture House.   From the very beginning, I knew that sound designs can be very very important for this film and to really envelop the audience and bring them into the story itself, it was  going to take a very talented artist.  After much consideration, I feel that Arjun was the best candidate to take on this project.

  Perry Kroll

After watching a plethora VFX reels,  I finally came across this Perry's work.  And I'll tell you it's amazing.  Green screen work, compositing, you name it and he can do it. as soon as I saw his real I knew that's who I wanted to do the visual FX work on the film.  Check out his reel to see what I am talking about

  Jeffrey Siutryk

Jeff has been on this project since the very beginning.  He is a very talented composer and I feel lucky that he's working with me.  This this will be the second project that I've had that opportunity,  I've  listened to some of the ideas and musical sketches that he's been working on for this film and it's absolutely  incredible.

So there you have it folks, our Post Production team. I can't tell you how excited we are to have all these talented individuals collaborating on the film.  It's been a long process to get to this point, but I'm glad that everything has turned out the way it  has.  All the up and all the downs have had a  profound affect on the way that I have approached this particular project and so far everything is just right.
